+This section describes how to use MongoDB for rtcstats.

+### Setup
+

+1. **Configure Environment Variables**
+
+    Edit the MongoDB environment variables  in `rtcstats/.env`:
+    ```
+    # Set the service type. Can be "AWS" or "MongoDB".
+    RTCSTATS_SERVICE_TYPE=MongoDB
+
+    ...
+
+    # For MongoDB
